This role would be responsible for end to end Accounting and Finance ownership support for Country; Supporting Business Head, Head of Finance & commercial teams with various different Analysis. Liaising with 3PL and / or distributor and / or Contract manufacturing for account reconciliation and accounting. Product costing, Budgeting, Forecasting and Management reports for the business, Cash Management, IFRS ,Local VAT and tax compliances. Meeting with customers and follow up on Collections. Delegation and management of small Finance Team; Overall responsible for Country’s Finance, Accounting & FP&A.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Financials as per local GAAP and IFRS with all annexure and reconciliations along with Segmental P&L
• Preparation of Actual P&L/Cash Flow/Balance Sheets as per the specified format from corporate
• Preparation of Forecasts P&L/Cash Flow/Balance Sheets
- Distributor agreement review
- In depth understanding and ownership of stock and sales movement & reporting
- Receivables management
- Distributor Claims validation and management
• Business Partnering Support: in Profitability analysis, Business case preparation, Negotiation with customer / Vendor etc.
• Monthly reconciliation of Statutory books vs. MIS
• Cash management and budgetary control
• Active involvement in implementation of Accounting software and BI Tool
• Budget preparation and Long Range Plan (3-5 years)
• Liaising with 3PL, Distributor / Contract Manufacturing and Reconciliation of Stock and Accounting on a regular basis
• Handing local statutory Audit & organization’s internal audit
• Handing Tax Audit, VAT, Transfer Pricing, liaising with Local Consultant and India Corporate Taxation Team
• Collection follow up with customers, Co-ordinating between distributor and customers on reconciliation
• Coordination with local bank on requirements
• Legal assistance
• Other local country regulatory requirements compliance

Education and Experience:
• CPA, CA or equivalent qualification. Or Part qualified with higher number of years’ experience SBU finance independently
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Accounting and management, FP&A, Business support and local Taxation. Preferably in Pharma.
• Advantage if candidate has ERP implementation experience
