- Qualified accountant with 7+ years’ relevant experience and 4+ years’ PQE
- Strong commercial finance or finance business partnering experience
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling capabilities
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision making
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner within the Generation & Asset Management division, this role will involve close collaboration with operational leadership teams, JV partners, FP&A, and senior stakeholders across the business. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and commercially challenging business opportunities to ensure an appropriate balance of risk and reward
- Managing day-to-day financial performance across key business areas and proactively engaging with stakeholders to achieve targets
- Supporting planning, budgeting and forecasting processes while agreeing assumptions with FP&A teams and JV partners
- Leading financial analytics and delivering commercial insights to support strategic business decisions
- Presenting financial updates, analysis and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders
- Supporting the maintenance of robust governance and financial control frameworks across the business
- Managing end-to-end relationships across Finance Business Partnering, FP&A and Accounting & Reporting teams
- Working closely with auditors and external stakeholders in relation to statutory financial reporting requirements
