Equifind have partnered with a global financial services group to assist them with their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their London team.

The Finance Business Partner will serve as a key liaison between the finance department and various business units within the company. This role requires a strong blend of financial expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to provide insightful financial analysis, strategic guidance, and support to senior management and department heads.

Key Duties Include:
Work closely with department heads and project teams to evaluate financial viability and profitability of new initiatives, projects, and investments
Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess the impact of various strategic decisions on the company’s bottom line
Management of the monthly reporting process (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash-flow), timely delivery of draft financial information and raising key points for review.
Management of business line reporting and analysis, ensuring that transactions continue to be entered into the system in accordance with the latest reporting requirements.
Responsibility and ownership of accurate balance sheet accounts and reconciliations on a monthly basis, applying appropriate judgement re the treatment of technical items.
Assisting with the year-end audit and tax process.
Experience & Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (preferably trained in an audit)
A minimum of 3 years experience within an audit/finance function
Sound understanding of IFRS reporting standards
Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to non-finance personnel
Strong excel skills and advanced modelling
Exceptional commercial awareness
Compensation:
Base salary of £60-70,000
Annual bonus, commensurate with company and individual performance
