Position:
The Business Analyst is responsible of managerial P&L, Income statement submission and business planning & performance indicators according to the Region/Global standards. Person is actively involved in analyzing the results of the Area/Company, providing strategic input to the business partners as well as performance insights to the different stakeholders. Additionally, the role fosters continuous improvement by standardizing, simplifying, and automating reporting processes in line with Reporting Excellence objectives, requiring close collaboration with local stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective financial communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the whole P&L managerial process, including budgeting, strategic and operational MY planning, forecasting, strategic projects, monthly/quarterly/annual results;
- Support Finance Manager on monthly closing process in order to align income statement to balance sheet;
- Provide robust analysis on current business trend and explain main variances from the plan at Country level, business line and product performance;
- Deliver performance insights, ad-hoc analysis to support sales and marketing actual performance and project accurate forecast figures;
- Provide KPI, identify business efficiency opportunities and provide financial support on new project evaluation;
- Guardian of the FCF and supporting/coordinating the periodic FCF Testing in the OPU (applicable to local OPUs Business Analysts)
- Supports the Finance Manager in all local ad hoc or periodic reporting as well as the statutory year end closing processes (applicable to local OPUs Business Analysts)
- Business Analyst of France and Benelux.
- Min. 3 years Finance experience
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Progressive experience in areas of controlling (preferable in industry), knowledge of IFRS GAAP
- Strong business acumen
- Proficiency in extrapolating and analyzing data from ERP systems and Office systems
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong process and automation skills with experience in process reengineering
- Strong planning and financial analysis skills
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Showing high sense of flexibility to cope with frequent change and new projects
- Excellent communication skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential to facilitate cross functional collaboration, provide meaningful financial insights and support effective decision making across the business
- Fluent French and Dutch (preferred), communicative English
