Ascension Search Partners has been engaged to hire a very talented and motivated Finance Associate for a well regarded multi-billion dollar private equity firm in the DFW metroplex. This person will work closely with the investment team, finance team, and investor relations to deliver financial insights and assist with investment decisions and have regular interaction with the Chief Investment Officer, Managing Director of Investments, and other key leadership.
The role will have a broad array of responsibilities that include strategy, business analysis, diligencing investments, and assessing investments’ fit within the company’s broader strategic plan. The firm is looking for a candidate with exceptional financial modeling experience. Prior experience with waterfall calculations is ideal. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in investment banking or financial services firm who is a self-starter who is comfortable working and communicating with senior executives on high-impact initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or similar
- 2-4 years of work experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking
or corporate M&A
- Strong modeling skills inclusive of waterfall calculations or carried interest calculations
- Strong communication skills
