Wallter.com is an international fintech group providing payment, account, card and financial infrastructure solutions for business clients. As part of the group, SwissWallter.ch is a Swiss financial intermediary and digital assets company focused on crypto and payment-related activities.

We are looking for a Junior Finance Operations Specialist to join our Bucharest Branch and support the finance, reporting, reconciliation and payment operations related to SwissWallter.ch and other group-level financial workflows.

Role overview

This is a practical finance operations role, suitable for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers, reports, reconciliations, payments and internal controls.

The role is broader than classic accounting support and will involve daily checks, monthly reports, reconciliations, audit support, payment preparation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and support monthly financial and operational reports.

Perform daily checks of balances, transactions, payments and internal records.

Carry out reconciliations between bank accounts, payment providers, internal systems and accounting records.

Support payment preparation and payment tracking.

Monitor incoming and outgoing financial flows.

Assist with invoice management, expense tracking and supplier payment coordination.

Support the preparation of documentation for audits, accounting reviews and internal controls.

Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.

Work with accountants, auditors, management and operational teams.

Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring and financial planning tasks.

Identify discrepancies, investigate differences and follow up until resolution.

Support improvements in finance workflows, reporting templates and internal procedures.

Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and proper documentation of all finance-related activities.

Requirements

University degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting support, operations, banking, fintech, payments or audit is an advantage.

Good understanding of basic accounting, financial reporting and reconciliation principles.

Very good attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers.

Good Excel / Google Sheets skills.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Organized, responsible and able to manage recurring daily and monthly tasks.

Comfortable working with documents, reports, payment systems and internal procedures.

Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external providers.

Nice to have

Experience in fintech, payments, banking, crypto, brokerage or regulated financial services.

Familiarity with payment providers, bank statements, IBAN flows, card transactions or crypto/payment operations.

Experience working with accountants, auditors or external finance providers.

Knowledge of accounting software, ERP tools, CRM tools or financial dashboards.

Interest in fintech, digital assets and international financial operations.
