Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Administrator, located in Petaling Jaya. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for balancing financial accuracy with operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Management: Managing daily financial operations, preparing financial reports, conducting analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Compliance & Records: Ensuring strict compliance with financial regulations, managing precise accounting records, and assisting with tax-related documentation.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generating and issuing invoices to clients, monitoring payment statuses, and performing necessary follow-ups.
  • Payroll & Reimbursement: Verifying attendance data for payroll processing and managing employee expense claims/reimbursements.
  • Administrative Operations: Maintaining an organized filing system (physical and digital), overseeing office inventory/supplies, and coordinating with vendors for the Petaling Jaya office.
  • Strategic Support: Working closely with the finance team to maintain and improve efficient financial systems and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Financial Proficiency: Strong expertise in financial planning, accounting practices, and standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and generate insightful reports.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software/tools and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a distinct advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in handling financial figures and legal documentation.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain order in administrative tasks.
