As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and lead the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. You will play a strategic role in supporting management decisions through financial analysis, internal control improvements, and effective financial planning.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily finance & accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and general ledger activities.
- Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow reports).
- Oversee monthly and yearly closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and conduct periodic bank reconciliations.
- Review tax calculations and filings (VAT, PPh 21, 23, 25, and others) to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities when required.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records and tax reports.
- Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize financial risk.
- Supervise and mentor finance staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a Public Accounting Firm (Kantor Akuntan Publik/KAP).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in handling audits and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Brevet A & B certifications are preferred.
