What will you bring?
- Bachelor's degree in economics or management required (Master's degree is an advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working on final accounts for LLC companies in accordance with Bosnia and Herzegovina legislation, in privately owned companies
- Previous experience with Pantheon software
- Proficiency in English (min B2 level)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in submitting tax returns in accordance with Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and Republika Srpska (RS) regulations
What will you do?
- Ownership of accounting and bookkeeping processes
- Oversight of the General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (AP/AR), reconciliations, and closing activities, with responsibility for month-end closing and preparation of closing checklists.
- Coordination of statutory, audit, and reporting activities
- Establishment and maintenance of Standard Operating Practices (SOPs), internal controls, review checkpoints, and collaboration with an external agency in a consultancy/review capacity
- Backup readiness for payroll consolidation, payroll calculation, and payroll tax and contributions reporting in the absence of the Senior Payroll Specialist
- Functional oversight of relevant Finance processes and the operational team
