For a trusted client of ours – a growing tech company specializing in fraud prevention and compliance solutions, helping global businesses detect and prevent financial crime in real time, we are looking for Finance and Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the budgeting process (annual budget and forecasts)
- Prepare forecasts and analyse variances
- Monitor financial performance and key KPIs
- Support management with financial insights
Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee accounting activities in line with local requirements
- Ensure timely financial reporting
- Manage statutory reporting to Bulgarian authorities (NRA, NSI, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, CIT)
- Coordinate audits
Cash Flow & Operations:
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity
- Manage banking relationships and expenses
- Oversee payroll
- Support the development of the finance function
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax regulations
- Experience with budgeting is a plus
- Good Excel and accounting systems skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Proactive and reliable
