Robert Half are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a large, international real estate and professional services business on a permanent basis, based in Central London.
This role will initially be heavily focused on billing, cash flow, and process management in a complex, evolving environment, making it well suited to someone who enjoys improving processes, resolving issues, and working closely with operations.
This is a highly operational and commercially exposed role, sitting within a fast-paced environment currently undergoing significant transformation. You’ll play a key role supporting financial processes, improving systems, and partnering with operational teams during a period of change and integration.

📊 About the Position
Reporting into senior finance leadership, your role will initially focus heavily on billing, cash flow, and process management, before evolving into a broader finance position with forecasting and commercial responsibilities.
You will be responsible for:
• Supporting a complex billing process via a Shared Service Centre, ensuring accurate and timely invoice requests.
• Managing aged debt, working closely with operational teams to drive timely PO receipting and cash collection.
• Owning timesheet tracking and compliance, building dashboards to monitor completion and improve accuracy.
• Partnering with operations to resolve resistance and improve adoption of financial processes.
• Identifying and resolving process inefficiencies during a period of systems and operational change.
• Supporting system migration activities and helping embed new finance processes and controls.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting, with the opportunity to take on more ownership over time.
• Ensuring strong financial governance, controls, and accurate financial data across projects.
This is a hands-on role in a changing environment, particularly in the first few months, where billing, processes, and operational alignment will be the key focus.
📋 What We’re Looking For
• Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), including those who have chosen not to continue studying.
• Strong grounding in finance fundamentals (debits & credits, revenue, cost control).
• Experience in billing, revenue processes, or working with Shared Service Centres.
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting, with a desire to develop further in this area.
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience building dashboards and improving reporting.
• Comfortable working in a complex, evolving environment with process and system challenges.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, confident pushing back and driving process adherence.
• Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused mindset.
