Role Description This is a part-time, remote Finance Administrator (Entry-Level / Junior) role responsible for supporting day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. The Finance Administrator will assist with basic bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, updating ledgers, and supporting the preparation of invoices and expense reports. The role will involve helping to maintain accurate financial records, organizing digital documentation, and supporting the preparation of simple financial summaries and reports for internal stakeholders. The Finance Administrator will collaborate with senior team members to ensure financial data is complete and compliant with internal guidelines, while following clear procedures and checklists. This position is suitable for individuals early in their finance or accounting career who are eager to learn, work independently, and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review numerical data, identify discrepancies, and follow structured processes.
- Foundational knowledge of finance concepts and comfort working with budgets, financial tracking, and basic financial analysis.
- Understanding of financial statements and the ability to assist in preparing or updating simple reports (e.g., income statements, balance summaries).
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with remote team members and handling financial inquiries.
- Basic accounting skills, including familiarity with debits/credits, general ledgers, and reconciliations.
