Job Description:

  • Work as part of the Fiduciary Monitoring Unit team acting as a primary contact in the delivery of an excellent Depositary service to our clients daily.
  • Work with Clients Trustee operations acting as service provider for the NAV review process, investment restriction monitoring, daily banking and other processes in accordance with the ICSA and approved procedures.
  • To ensure fiduciary duties are appropriately discharged and the liability for funds domiciled in Ireland is understood and contained.
  • To ensure a consistent EMEA service and product offering is delivered and where required developed for existing and potential fund clients.
  • The position exists to protect interests of investors in funds and to ensure franchise and reputation is safeguarded with the appropriate regulatory bodies, mutual funds market and client base

Fiduciary Oversight

  • Execution of investment and borrowing monitoring checks for designated funds, monitoring all relevant aspects of investment management activity, including securities lending, OTC / exchange traded derivatives and third party held assets, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Completion of the cash flow monitoring and tracking of all issues including communication of these to clients.
  • Assist with the timely and accurate set-up of new funds from the standpoint of investment monitoring, NAV review, cashflow monitoring and asset register.
  • Assist in effective oversight of Trustee Operations COE Warsaw.
  • Interaction with clients in respect of breaches.
  • Manage the flow of data received by/from internal support teams to ensure that relevant and timely information is provided to clients and their associated service providers. Work with internal support teams and external parties to resolve any outstanding client issues.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 3+ years Fiduciary or other compliance or financial services related experience.
  • Experience working with exceptions-based monitoring systems in Trustee/Depositary, custody, fund accounting or reconciliation systems would be an advantage e.g. CRIMS.
  • Good knowledge of Trustee / Depositary standards and regulatory responsibilities.
  • Technical knowledge of financial instruments and investment strategies.
  • Knowledge of UCITS & AIFMD investment restrictions would be an advantage.

Skills:

  • Teamwork, innovation/creativity, adaptability & flexibility, positive approach to new ideas and concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of all MS Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel PowerPoint).
  • Some experience interacting with MS Excel tools (including VBA and SQL) would be highly desirable
