Position: Fall 2026 Insurance Co-op Opportunity
Enhance your career with Definity as an Insurance Representative intern for Fall 2026. This 8-month co-op focuses on supporting Brokers and stakeholders with top-notch customer service and transaction processing.
In this role, you will report to the Team Leader, Broker Services, providing essential assistance with Guidewire inquiries. Your focus will include data entry support, processing various transactions, and assessing lower complexity risks. With a strong emphasis on adherence to underwriting guidelines, you will also escalate complex inquiries as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with data entry for Broker inquiries
• Process transactions under underwriting guidelines
• Review incoming emails and categorize risk types
• Maintain and update case management systems
• Collaborate with escalation contacts for complex issues
Requirements:
• University degree or college diploma in Business or Finance
• Expertise in insurance and underwriting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to solve problems effectively
