Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and highly respected Executive Vice President (EVP) to join our executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, operational excellence, organizational performance, and long-term business success. Based in Mexico City, this executive position will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to oversee critical business functions, support corporate strategy execution, and strengthen the company’s market position both domestically and internationally.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years of senior leadership and executive management experience, with a proven track record of leading large organizations, managing high-performing teams, and delivering measurable business results within complex and competitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to develop and execute the organization's strategic vision, corporate objectives, and long-term growth initiatives.
Provide executive oversight across multiple business functions, including operations, business development, finance, corporate strategy, technology, investment activities, and organizational performance.
Drive revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and market expansion initiatives across the organization.
Lead the implementation of corporate strategies, ensuring alignment between executive leadership, business units, and operational teams.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, joint ventures, and expansion initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators and organizational metrics to ensure achievement of financial and operational objectives.
Support capital planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and investment prioritization to maximize business performance.
Represent the organization in high-level engagements with investors, financial institutions, government agencies, regulators, clients, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
Provide leadership during periods of organizational transformation, restructuring, rapid growth, mergers and acquisitions, and international expansion.
Develop and maintain strong governance, risk management, compliance, and corporate responsibility frameworks.
Lead, mentor, and develop senior executives and department leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between executive leadership, shareholders, and the Board of Directors.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, Law, International Business, or a related discipline.
MBA, Master's degree, Executive Leadership qualification, or other advanced professional credentials are strongly preferred.
Minimum 15 years of professional management and leadership experience within medium-sized to large organizations.
Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience in positions such as Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, General Manager, or equivalent senior executive roles.
Demonstrated success leading large teams, managing complex business operations, and delivering sustained organizational growth.
Strong understanding of corporate governance, strategic planning, financial management, business development, organizational leadership, and risk management.
Proven ability to manage multiple business functions and lead cross-functional executive teams.
Experience working directly with boards, investors, shareholders, financial institutions, and strategic stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate dynamic domestic and international business environments.
Preferred Experience
Experience within financial services, fintech, investment management, technology, digital finance, professional services, infrastructure, manufacturing, international trade, or multinational corporations.
Experience overseeing multi-country operations and international market expansion initiatives.
Background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and investor relations.
Experience managing organizations undergoing significant growth, transformation, or market expansion.
Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
Previous board-level interaction and executive committee experience is strongly preferred.
