Are you passionate about technology investments, venture funding, and portfolio management? MTDC is seeking Executive / Senior Executive – Investment to support strategic investments in high-potential, technology-based companies across priority national sectors.
🚀 What You’ll Do:
🔍 Deal Sourcing & Evaluation
- Assist in identifying and sourcing potential investee companies aligned with MTDC’s key focus areas:
- Aerospace & Future Mobility
- Electrical & Electronics / Semiconductor
- Industry 4.0 / 4IR
- Green Economy
- Food Security
- Healthcare & Life Sciences
- Participate in pitching sessions, VC networking, technology seminars, and industry events.
- Conduct company evaluations, pre-assessments, site visits, and prepare investment proposals and papers.
📑 Investment Execution
- Coordinate documentation and assessments to ensure compliance with fund objectives and SOPs.
- Assist in due diligence processes with consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Support negotiation and finalisation of definitive agreements and CLO documentation.
- Facilitate investment disbursement in accordance with agreed terms.
📊 Portfolio Monitoring & Value Creation
- Monitor investee company performance and compliance post-investment.
- Proactively engage investee companies, especially during the first 100 days.
- Coordinate quarterly reporting and monitor repayment for CPN instruments.
- Support value-added initiatives to enhance portfolio performance.
🤝 Stakeholder Engagement & Fundraising
- Support engagement with Ministries, agencies, VC players, consultants, and investee companies.
- Assist in fundraising initiatives and relationship-building with potential investors, financial institutions, and funds.
- Support exit planning via IPOs, trade sales, or redemptions in line with fund timelines.
🎯 Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in investment, venture capital, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
- Good understanding of technology-driven businesses and investment structures.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
- Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
