We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Executive (Credit Control) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing collections, cash applications, reconciliations, and stakeholder relationships to ensure healthy receivables and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and allocate customer payments, deposits, and receipts accurately and within established timelines.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances across Motor, Non-Motor, and Medical portfolios to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain collection trackers, account statements, and financial records, providing regular updates to management.
- Liaise with insurers, customers, and agents regarding payments, account reconciliations, suspension/cancellation notices, and outstanding balances.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations between company, insurer, customer, and agent accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage escalations and coordinate with internal departments to resolve operational and financial issues efficiently.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance credit control and collection practices.
- Train and support new team members while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- :Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- .2–5 years of experience in Credit Control, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or a similar finance role preferably within the Insurance Broking or Insurance Industry in the UA
- EStrong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- .Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
