Title: EXECUTIVE, CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGY

Northport is seeking a high-calibre, analytical and driven individual to support strategic initiatives across port expansion, industrial development and long-term concession planning.
This role is not suited for routine operational profiles. It requires strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen and the ability to work on complex, multi-stakeholder projects involving Government and large-scale infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support strategic initiatives including: Port expansion and capacity planning, Industrial and logistics park development, Concession strategy and long-term development roadmap
- Develop feasibility studies and business cases, including financial modelling (IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis)
- Prepare high-quality Management and Board papers with clear commercial insights
- Work closely with Finance, Property, Engineering and Legal teams on cross-functional projects
- Engage with Government agencies and regulators on reporting, approvals and strategic matters
- Support funding, incentives and facilitation initiatives (e.g. grants, ITA, facilitation funds)
- Conduct market benchmarking, commercial analysis and industry intelligence
- Execute strategic assignments from Group / Shareholders
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3–6 years relevant experience in:
- Corporate strategy / planning
- Investment / business analysis
- Consulting or infrastructure-related environment
Strong financial modelling capability (not basic Excel user — must be able to build and interpret models independently)
Proven ability to prepare structured Management or Board-level materials
Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate data into commercial insights
Confident in stakeholder engagement, including Government and senior management
Exposure to infrastructure, logistics, industrial or port-related projects will be a strong advantage
Important Note:
This role involves high-impact, long-term strategic projects with direct exposure to senior management and Government stakeholders.
