Role Description
The Equity Analyst – L/S Internet role is a part-time, hybrid position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work. The analyst will conduct industry research, analyze investment opportunities in the internet sector, and support the team in forming data-driven investment theses. Additional responsibilities include creating detailed financial models, preparing presentations and reports, and providing insights regarding market trends and developments.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to build detailed financial models.
- Expertise in performing research, evaluating industry trends, and identifying investment opportunities, particularly in the internet sector.
- Strong writing and presentation skills for preparing investor documents and presenting findings effectively.
- Proficiency in financial tools and software, as well as knowledge of equity analysis and financial markets.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a hybrid work environment.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred. Open to non-traditional backgrounds.
- Prior experience in equity research, financial analysis, or investment management is a plus.
