Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records by accurately processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions using accounting software like QuickBooks and ERP systems.
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations, invoice entry, and expense tracking to support the finance team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer payments in accordance with company policies.
  • Utilize MS Excel for data entry, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial information to assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in monitoring account balances and resolving discrepancies by liaising with vendors, clients, and internal departments.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports by collecting, organizing, and verifying financial data in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Use knowledge of accounting principles to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to help streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency using ERP software tools.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist auditors during internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations of financial activities.
