Our client Harpal Textiles is looking for a Entry-Level Accountant – Financial Reporting & ERP Skills in Lahore

Harpal Textiles seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting. This role ensures timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation of financial statements, and supports budgeting and forecasting activities. The position requires familiarity with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks to efficiently manage general ledger accounting and invoice processing.

This entry-level role is designed for candidates with up to one year of experience who demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. While the position does not involve managing a team, it requires collaboration with other finance and operations staff to maintain financial accuracy and support company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger by verifying, allocating, and posting account transactions.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage invoice processing and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Utilize ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks to maintain financial records and support accounting functions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to collect financial information and support audit activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems to support financial data accuracy and retrieval.
