I’m currently supporting a high-growth, PE-backed FMCG business on a key strategic hire within their leadership team.
This is a high-impact role, reporting directly into the CPO with ownership of procurement across a complex, multi-site operation.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional procurement role.
You will play a central role in shaping commercial performance, driving margin, and building a best-in-class procurement function aligned to a fast-scaling FMCG business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning and delivering the end-to-end procurement strategy
- Leading sourcing across directs (ingredients, packaging) and indirect spend
- Driving cost optimisation and value creation across the group
- Building strategic supplier partnerships and negotiating key contracts
- Partnering with Finance, Supply Chain and Operations at a senior level
- Supporting growth, transformation, and potential M&A activity
What They’re Looking For
- Senior procurement leadership experience within FMCG / consumer products
- Strong background across direct procurement (ingredients / packaging)
- Proven ability to deliver commercial impact and cost savings
- Experience in PE-backed, fast-paced or transforming environments
- Gravitas to operate at Exec level
