A leading national provider of security and facility services is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee operational performance, profitability, and growth across an assigned geographic region.
This executive-level role provides both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring service excellence, strong client relationships, and alignment with organizational objectives. This position partners closely with executive leadership, business development, and cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Operations Leadership
- Provide leadership and oversight to regional Directors, Branch Managers, and operational teams
- Ensure consistent execution of policies, procedures, and service standards
- Monitor service delivery metrics to maintain high client satisfaction and retention
- Address operational challenges and implement corrective action plans
Financial Management
- Maintain full regional P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, cost control, and margin performance
- Review financial and operational reports to ensure fiscal accountability
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the region
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
Business Development Support
- Partner with Business Development to support regional growth initiatives
- Contribute to pricing strategy and proposal development
- Participate in client presentations and high-level prospect meetings
- Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts
Client & Market Leadership
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients
- Represent the organization in industry associations and regional networks
- Strengthen brand presence and market positioning within the region
Talent Leadership & Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Strategic Execution
- Execute regional strategies aligned with corporate objectives
- Contribute to long-term planning and organizational initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive consistency and share best practices
M&A Support
- Support due diligence efforts for regional acquisitions
- Assist with post-acquisition integration as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong operational and financial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams or locations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client relationship and customer service orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related tools
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8–12+ years of progressive operational leadership experience
- Multi-location management experience required
- Direct P&L responsibility required
- Experience in security services or a related industry preferred
Work Environment & Travel
- Combination of office-based and field-based work
- Regular regional travel (approximately 30–50%)
- Ability to visit client sites in a variety of environments
- Extended periods of computer-based work as needed
