Job Title: Operations Director

Provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across all

operational departments, ensuring delivery of exceptional

service/product quality, optimizing resource utilization, driving

continuous improvement initiatives, and achieving organizational

performance targets while maintaining highest safety and

compliance standards.

🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Operations Leadership

Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies

aligned with company vision and business objectives

Lead operational planning, budgeting, and resource allocation

across all departments

Drive business growth through operational excellence,

innovation, and process optimization

Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term strategic

planning and organizational development

Identify market opportunities and operational capabilities to

support business expansion

Operational Management & Excellence

Direct and coordinate service delivery/production operations

across multiple departments

Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations ensuring seamless

execution and quality standards

Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

and operational best practices

Ensure achievement and exceeding of revenue, productivity, and

customer satisfaction targets

Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for

operational monitoring and improvementFinancial & Budget Management

Work with General Manager to develop meaningful, achievable

operational budgets

Ensure cost control throughout operational departments and

analyze results regularly

Prepare budgets and regular profit/loss reports for operational

activities

Develop strategies to reduce operational costs and increase

profitability

Manage capital projects, refurbishments, and infrastructure

investments effectively

Quality & Service Excellence

Implement and maintain quality management systems ensuring

consistent service/product delivery

Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to

enhance satisfaction levels

Ensure compliance with company service standards and quality

benchmarks

Respond to customer issues promptly and implement corrective

measures

Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer satisfaction

improvement initiatives

Team Leadership & Development

Provide effective leadership to operational management team

and frontline staff

Recruit, develop, and retain top talent ensuring robust

succession planning

Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training

and development needs

Foster culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous

improvement

Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with Heads

of DepartmentSupply Chain & Logistics Oversight

Oversee procurement, inventory management, and supply chain

operations

Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet schedules

and specifications

Optimize logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks for

efficiency

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for cost

effectiveness

Ensure supply chain resilience and business continuity planning

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with Kuwait health, safety, environmental,

and regulatory standards

Enforce safety protocols and policies across all operational

facilities

Participate in procedure development and maintain compliance

documentation

Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions

Maintain certifications and accreditations required for

operations

Audit & Continuous Improvement

Respond to internal and external audits ensuring continuous

improvement

Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement

methodologies

Analyze operational inefficiencies and develop action plans for

enhancement

Benchmark against industry standards and implement best

practices

Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives

Stakeholder & Client Management

Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring long

term partnerships

Support business development, tendering, and contract

negotiation processesRepresent operations in board meetings and management

committee discussions

Coordinate with finance, sales, HR, and other departments for

integrated execution

Manage escalations and resolve complex operational challenges

📋 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

Essential: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business

Administration, Operations Management, or related field

Preferred: Master's degree (MBA/MSc Operations/Engineering

Management)

Professional certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, APICS)

Experience

Minimum: 12-15 years progressive operations experience with

at least 5-7 years in senior leadership role

Proven track record managing large-scale operations in

manufacturing, hospitality, logistics, or construction

Experience in Kuwait or GCC region highly preferred

Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and

business transformation

Experience managing multi-site operations and cross-functional

teams

Technical Skills

Expert knowledge of operations management principles,

methodologies, and best practices

Proficiency in ERP systems, project management tools, and

operational software

Strong understanding of supply chain management, quality

systems, and process optimization

Financial acumen with ability to manage P&L and operational

budgets

Knowledge of Kuwait regulatory environment, labor law, and
