Position Overview

We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of 20+ restaurant locations throughout Michigan. This role will provide leadership to a team of District Managers while driving operational excellence, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team development across the market.

The ideal candidate is a proven multi-unit leader with experience managing large geographic territories, developing field leadership teams, and driving consistent operational performance across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to District Managers overseeing multiple restaurant locations
  • Drive sales growth, profitability, operational execution, and guest satisfaction across the market
  • Analyze business trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities and implement action plans
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards, systems, and operating procedures
  • Coach, develop, and mentor field leadership and restaurant management teams
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including sales, labor, food cost, turnover, and guest experience
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits to assess operations, develop talent, and support execution
  • Partner with training, human resources, and support teams to drive organizational objectives
  • Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Support new restaurant openings, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience
  • Experience leading District Managers, Area Managers, or equivalent field leaders
  • Proven track record managing 20+ restaurant locations or comparable multi-unit responsibility
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial data to drive business results
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Ability to travel throughout Michigan on a regular basis
  • Experience within QSR, fast casual, franchised, or multi-unit restaurant environments preferred
