Cloud for Good is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead the company's budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis functions. Reporting to the Chief Finance & Administrative Officer (CFAO), this role will serve as a trusted business partner to the CEO, COO, CRO, and senior leadership team, providing actionable financial insights that support growth, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.

The Director of FP&A will own the company's annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting cadence, long-range planning, and executive reporting while developing financial models and analyses that drive performance across sales, delivery, customer success, operations, and corporate functions. This role requires a highly analytical leader who can translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US or Canada

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments and business units.
  • Own monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, including revenue, bookings, utilization, headcount, operating expenses, and cash flow projections.
  • Develop and maintain long-range financial plans that support Cloud for Good's growth strategy and investment priorities.
  • Build and continuously improve financial models to evaluate business performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support executive decision-making.
  • Own budget development for add-on M&A business and new lines of business in a high growth setting.

2. Strategic Business Partnership:

  • Serve as a strategic financial advisor and business partner to the CEO, COO, CRO, CFAO, and other senior leaders.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate investments, resource allocation decisions, organizational growth plans, and operational initiatives.
  • Translate financial results into actionable recommendations that improve profitability, scalability, and business performance.
  • Support board, investor, and leadership presentations with financial analysis and strategic insights.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics that align financial outcomes with operational goals.

3. Revenue and Operations Analysis:

  • Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to analyze pipeline health, bookings, revenue forecasts, sales productivity, and growth trends.
  • Collaborate with Delivery and Operations leadership to monitor utilization, margins, project performance, and workforce planning.
  • Analyze revenue drivers, client profitability, pricing strategies, and business unit performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and resource utilization.

4. Reporting and Performance Management:

  • In collaboration with the Controller, lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting packages that provide timely, actionable business insights.
  • Establish consistent financial planning processes, reporting standards, and performance management frameworks across the organization.
  • Ensure leadership and board have visibility into key risks, opportunities, and emerging business trends.

5. Process Improvement and Systems:

  • Continuously improve FP&A processes, models, tools, and reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Systems teams to enhance data quality, reporting automation, and planning capabilities.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices in financial planning, forecasting, and business analytics.
  • Support future scalability of financial systems, planning processes, and reporting infrastructure.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the role:

  • Accuracy and effectiveness of forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Quality and timeliness of executive reporting and business insights.
  • Improvement in decision-making through financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong partnership with executive leadership and department leaders.
  • Development of scalable planning processes that support Cloud for Good's continued growth.
  • Identification and execution of opportunities that improve profitability, operational performance, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or related fields.
  • Experience leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes in a growth-oriented organization.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, SaaS, technology, or recurring revenue businesses.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with sales, operations, and executive leadership teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence/reporting tools.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting private equity-backed or investor-backed organizations.
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant professional designation.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and analytics environments.

Travel Requirements

  • All roles at Cloud for Good include a travel component. Business travel—both domestic and international—is required based organizational priorities. The amount of travel will vary by role but is generally expected to be up to 20% annually. Travel is considered an essential part of this position.

Work Environment

  • Cloud for Good is a fully remote company. Team members are expected to maintain a professional, distraction-free workspace that is camera-ready for video meetings. Collaboration takes place across Zoom, Office 365, and Salesforce during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone).

Time Zone Alignment

  • Cloud for Good is a global organization with operations in India and North America. As a finance team member, you may be required to adjust your work hours occasionally to align with your team members’ time zones to support effective communication, collaboration, and priorities.
