The Sr. Director, FP&A will lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis for a games-focused business unit. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and performance analytics, while partnering closely with business leaders to drive data-informed decisions and growth. The position plays a key role in improving financial processes and delivering insights that support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly close processes including revenue/expense reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
  • Provide ongoing financial reporting and insights to support business decision-making
  • Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial records, including accruals and transaction tracking
  • Build and maintain financial models, templates, and planning tools
  • Monitor performance against forecasts and proactively identify risks/opportunities
  • Support business teams through regular financial reviews and analysis of key drivers
  • Manage expense tracking across production, marketing, and other functional areas
  • Conduct ad hoc financial modeling for new initiatives and strategic projects
  • Drive process improvements and leverage tools (including AI) to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy

Required Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience with monthly close cycles and financial reconciliations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CPA
  • Experience with ERP/planning systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and process automation
  • Experience supporting creative, media, or product-driven organizations
