Cultivate and nurture relationships with school leaders and trustees based on mutual respect and trust

Establish and maintain budgets that are fiscally conservative yet flexible enough to allow for innovation
Assist families in affording The Joy School tuition via prudent but compassionate administration of financial aid
Maintain a culture of support and respect for faculty and staff by ensuring timely and accurate payroll and benefits administration, and any counseling for such
Stay abreast of market trends and changes to ensure the School remains a top choice for families as well as a top workplace for employees
Provide strategic analysis and guidance to ensure financial stability for generations to come
Think outside the box to creatively solve challenges

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field. CPA/MBA preferred.
- Experience working in nonprofit organizations or independent schools
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Audit experience a plus
