Overview
E57 Partners is partnering with a private equity-backed platform company to identify a Director of Finance who will serve as the designated successor to the retiring CFO.
The current CFO has announced plans to retire at the end of 2026 and has agreed to remain with the organization during the transition period to ensure a successful leadership handoff. This individual will work closely alongside the CFO throughout 2026 before formally stepping into the Chief Financial Officer role at the beginning of 2027.
This is a highly visible opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in transformational environments and wants the ability to help reshape and build a best-in-class finance organization within a growing private equity-backed platform company.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of Finance will initially focus on evaluating the current finance and accounting infrastructure, improving processes and reporting, and assessing team structure and talent needs across the organization.
The company currently has a strong Controller in place, along with a finance team consisting of a Senior Manager of FP&A and a Senior Financial Analyst. Leadership is seeking a strategic and hands-on finance executive who can evaluate the broader organization, identify gaps and opportunities, and rebuild or enhance the team structure as needed to support future growth and scalability.
This role is ideal for a finance leader with experience operating in private equity-backed, high-growth, or transformational environments who can balance strategic leadership with operational execution.
