We are working on a Director of Finance search with a growing, globally focused asset management platform specializing in innovative investment strategies.
This is a highly visible leadership role, acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership while overseeing the full finance function across a complex, regulated environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tied to AUM-driven revenue
- Oversee treasury, cash management, and banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and US GAAP
- Partner cross-functionally with investment, operations, and distribution teams
- Support fund-level finance, including NAV oversight and expense management
- Drive strategic initiatives (systems, process improvements, potential M&A)
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team
What They’re Looking For:
- 8–12+ years of experience within asset management, funds, or financial services
- Strong background in fund accounting, financial reporting, and SEC compliance
- Experience in a leadership role (Controller / Director level)
- Exposure to ETFs or investment vehicles is a strong plus
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
