This role offers a rare chance to step into a Corporate FP&A function that is still being built following a recent acquisition, where you will play a key role in bringing structure, clarity, and consistency across a global organization. You will partner directly with the VP of Finance & Investor Relations and senior leaders to drive initiatives such as chart of accounts redesign, corporate cost consolidation, and alignment between FP&A, accounting, and external reporting. The environment is highly hands-on, requiring someone who can navigate ambiguity, roll up their sleeves, and lead process improvements and system implementations. This is an ideal opportunity for a high-potential leader to gain executive exposure while helping transition the organization from reactive reporting to proactive financial storytelling.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you will guide a team, influence cross-functional partners, and drive alignment in an environment that requires both strong execution and thoughtful decision-making.
- FP&A Leadership & Core Finance Foundation: Strong experience in FP&A with a solid grounding in accounting principles is critical to ensure accuracy, identify gaps, and build reliable financial reporting structures.
- Process Improvement & Building in Ambiguous Environments: Experience improving or building financial processes from the ground up is key, as this role will help create structure across budgeting, reporting, and corporate financial workflows.
- Post-Acquisition Integration / Transformation Exposure: Hands-on involvement in an acquisition or major transformation will enable this individual to navigate consolidation challenges, align reporting, and support system implementations.
- Cross-Functional Business Partnering: Proven ability to work across accounting, tax, HR, and business leaders is essential to drive alignment and ensure financial processes support broader organizational needs.
- Financial Storytelling & Executive Communication: The ability to translate data into clear insights and narratives will be critical in helping leadership understand performance drivers and make informed decisions.

Education Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required
- MBA, CPA, or advanced degree strongly preferred
- Background and leadership experience in Corporate financial planning and anaylis
Location & Travel
- Hybrid in Downtown Chicago
- ~25% travel, including domestic and international (Europe) travel
