As the Director of Accounting, you’ll lead core accounting functions, oversee treasury activities, streamline processes using a kaizen-driven approach, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. You’ll partner closely across regions, guide teams through dotted-line leadership, and represent the accounting function during site visits—making this a visible and influential role within the company.
Responsibilities
- GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and core accounting operations
- Treasury management, cash flow oversight, and banking relationships
- Internal/external audits, including sales tax, insurance, and workers’ compensation
- Continuous improvement and process optimization across accounting workflows
- Strategic financial guidance to regional and executive leadership
Requirements
- 7–10 years of combined public (audit-focused) and private accounting experience
- Strong audit management and treasury oversight background
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate cross-functionally
- Comfortable in a fast-paced role with ~40% travel
