1. Role Overview & Mandate

  • Acts as RTR (Record to Report) GPO / Super SME, defining and driving best-in-class RTR practices.
  • Operates as a high-impact Individual Contributor (IC role)
  • Leads continuous improvement, transformation, and standardization agenda across clients.
  • Drives assessment and deployment of Genpact RTR Agentic solutions
  • Anchors process excellence, benchmarking, and operating model design.

2. Transformation & Process Excellence

  • Lead standardization-first approach followed by automation and digital deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma frameworks.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and optimization opportunities.
  • Enable touchless, intelligent RTR processes through Agentic deployments.
  • Define best practices and scalable RTR operating models across engagements.

3. Domain Leadership & Functional Expertise

  • Function as RTR domain authority across GL, Intercompany, Close, and Reporting
  • Provide thought leadership in process design, control frameworks, and governance.
  • Support CFO agenda through data-driven insights and improved reporting structures.
  • Establish benchmarks, SLAs, KPIs, and performance standards across clients.
  • Define standard SLA/KPI frameworks aligned to best-in-class benchmarks and enable Ops teams with consistent measurement, reporting, and governance mechanisms.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Transformation Enablement

  • Work closely with Genpact Operations, Client Transformation teams, and Agentic/RPA Technology teams.
  • Enable alignment between process, technology, and business outcomes.
  • Support solutioning, due diligence, and transformation roadmap design for deals.
  • Drive scalable, standardized, and technology-led solutions in a matrixed environment.

5. Capability, Tools & Leadership Expectations

  • Deep expertise in RTR within BPO/SSC environment with strong transformation orientation
  • Expert in RTR transformation with strong domain knowledge across Intercompany, Manual Journal optimization, Peak load / close cycle management, and Reconciliations
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting
  • BlackLine experience mandatory; exposure to automation/digital tools preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Role Summary

RTR GPO (Individual Contributor) acting as a Super SME driving standardization, continuous improvement, and Agentic AI-led finance transformation in collaboration with Ops, Transformation, and Tech teams.
