Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy General Manager, based in Baghdad. The Deputy General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the bank. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, supervising various departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with senior leadership to achieve organizational goals. The role requires proactive problem-solving, strong leadership, and effective communication with teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in overseeing multiple departments
- Strategic planning, business development, and decision-making abilities
- In-depth knowledge of banking operations, financial regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven experience in a senior managerial role within the banking or financial services industry
- Proficiency in financial analysis and performance metrics
- Fluency in both English and Arabic
