Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deputy Chief Accountant to join our finance team at office. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves supervising and managing daily accounting activities, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring timely tax filings, and coordinating with auditors. The Deputy Chief Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with local and international financial regulations, while assisting in implementing and improving accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Location: Smouha, Alexandria
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (English Department)
- 8–10 years of experience in accounting, including at least 2 years as an Accounting Manager.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Excellent command of English – Reading, Writing, and Speaking (B2 level).
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively.
- Proven ability to prepare and issue accurate financial statements and related reports.
- Previous experience with ERP system.
- Proficiency in Commercial Excel is preferable.
- Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
- Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance, Auditing Processes, and Financial Regulations
- Experience with Accounting Software and Financial Modelling tools
- Strong Analytical Thinking and Attention to Detail
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Proven experience in a similar role; prior experience in the food or trade industry is an advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
