Position: Debtors and Creditors Clerk (YES Learnership)
Our client is looking for a reliable Debtors and Creditors Clerk to support the finance team with day-to-day accounts receivable and payable functions.
This role is based in Roodepoort.
Key Responsibilities:
– Capture financial data accurately on the accounting system
– Invoice customers and ensure all invoices are sent out timeously
– Process supplier invoices and ensure correct allocation
– Perform regular debtor and creditor reconciliations
– Send customer invoices and statements
– Request and reconcile supplier statements
– Resolve supplier queries and follow up on outstanding matters
– Maintain organised and accurate financial records
– Assist the finance team with general administrative duties where required
Job Experience and
Skills Required:
– Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance related.
– Minimum of 2 years experience in a debtors and/or creditors role
– Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
– Good communication skills for dealing with customers and suppliers
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems will be advantageous
