About The Role

The Drug Rebate Data Entry Clerk position is a vital role within Gainwell’s operations, primarily responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of Medicaid drug rebate payments. This remote role offers flexibility within the United States and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who excel in high-volume data entry, attention to detail, and organizational skills. The role involves managing rebate payment records, reconciling accounts, and supporting operational initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency. Qualifications

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe/Nitro software
  • Familiarity with PRIMS, Process Manager, SSRS Reports, and Remote Desktop Connection
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in data management or healthcare administration preferred
  • Previous experience in data entry or financial reconciliation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Post and reconcile Medicaid drug rebate payments in PRIMS and Process Manager systems accurately and timely
  • Maintain and update weekly deposit spreadsheets and correspondence related to rebate payments
  • Index, correct, and post historic payment data as required to ensure data integrity
  • Manage deposit spreadsheets and coversheets for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments from manufacturers
  • Support departmental initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and workflow processes
  • Assist in special projects to enhance data accuracy, reporting, and compliance standards
  • Track, maintain, and update rebate payment records and correspondence diligently
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and contract requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve organizational goals
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement activities to stay current with industry standards
