The Leveraged Finance platform manages high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and CLOs across global markets, with investment professionals based in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
This Associate role sits within the Leveraged Finance Research Team in New York. The ideal candidate has experience in leveraged finance and prior sector coverage as a credit research analyst, with strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead industry coverage and evaluate investment opportunities across high yield and leveraged loan markets, assessing relative value across capital structures
- Underwrite and assess credit risk to support portfolio positioning decisions
- Partner with Capital Markets and external counterparties on new issue bonds and leveraged loans
- Mentor and oversee junior credit research team members
- Maintain cross-functional relationships with Portfolio Management, Product Strategy, Capital Markets, Legal, and other internal stakeholders
- Develop thematic research materials and investment insights
