Managing an assigned loan portfolio, the full-time Credit Products Specialist II will structure and underwrite complex commercial credit transactions, analyze credit risk, negotiate loan terms, and mentor junior team members while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead underwriting efforts for complex loan requests and recommend risk-mitigating structures
- Continuously monitor portfolio performance to identify credit risks and trends
- Collaborate with relationship managers in client negotiations to align client needs with risk appetite
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4+ years in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management
- Advanced expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in structuring complex loan transactions
- Ability to analyze macroeconomic trends and their impact on credit risk
