Credit Controller Runcorn 9-Month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to go permanent) £28,000 Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Fully office-based We are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-focused Credit Controller to join a busy finance team based in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation on a 9-month contract, with a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities Take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances Carry out regular account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers to encourage prompt payment Conduct credit control activities including chasing overdue invoices via phone and email Maintain accurate records of all communications and account status updates Work closely with internal departments to resolve queries impacting payments Requirements Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance/customer-facing role is preferred Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Confident communicator, able to handle payment discussions professionally while maintaining relationships Please do not hesitate to APPLY
