• About You Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident using finance systems and
• Microsoft Excel Organised with strong time management skills
• About Your New Role Always Manage and collect outstanding debt in line with agreed credit terms
• Allocate and reconcile customer payments accurately
• Maintain accurate customer account records Produce regular debt and cash collection reports
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries and reduce overdue balances Often Follow up on aged debt and escalations
• Support credit limit reviews and decisions
• Work with stakeholders to improve cash collection processes Occasionally Assist with wider finance reporting tasks
• Support process improvements within the credit function Never Allow overdue debt to go unreviewed or unactioned Fight a bear over printer ink
