We are looking for a Credit Controller for our affiliate in South Africa. In this role you manage and coordinate the credit control function for the Company in line with the company’s credit policy. Ensuring a healthy cash flow and minimising bad debt.
- Ensure compliance with the terms of the Credendo contract.
- Manage Credendo insurance claims from submission to payment receipt.
- Prepare and submit weekly collections forecasts for cash flow to the Finance Manager.
- Resolve blocked sales orders in SAP due to debtor limits or payment terms by liaising with customers and sales reps.
- Submit monthly age analysis reports to sales representatives.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of foreign debtors, payment methods, and SARB regulations.
- Provide debtor information for annual external audits.
- Reconcile and process credit card transactions.
- Implement efficient work practices to add value to the business.
Profile
- Related Book Keeping/ Accounting diploma or Degree
- SAP experience, providing strong technical support and understanding of business processes.
- Intermediate level proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, capable of applying these tools for efficient data management and reporting.
- Excellent time management skills, able to plan and organise tasks to consistently meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player, contributing positively to group objectives.
- Ability to work with accuracy in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrates respect, self-discipline, motivation, and initiative in all tasks.
- Flexible when required to meet business needs.
- Upholds integrity and trust in all professional interactions.
- Effective communicator, able to convey information clearly and work well with others.
