Your new role

As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing and structuring home loan applications, ensuring lending decisions are commercially sound, compliant, and aligned with both internal credit policy and regulatory requirements. You’ll work across the full credit lifecycle, from initial assessment through to settlement, variations, and ongoing portfolio support, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

  • Analyse loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to assess creditworthiness
  • Conduct detailed income verification, serviceability analysis, and risk assessments
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks while making well‑reasoned approval or decline recommendations
  • Manage loan variations and increases from assessment through to settlement
  • Request and assess property valuations, evaluating security and exposure risk
  • Support documentation, process improvement initiatives, and ongoing credit projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in a Credit Analyst in a non-bank lender
  • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data confidently
  • Solid understanding of Australian credit legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and risk awareness
