About the Role
Country Finance Head (Philippines)
Responsibilities
- Treasury Management: Oversee company cash flow, manage bank accounts and fund transfers, prepare daily/weekly/monthly cash reports, and ensure liquidity safety.
- Accounting & Audit: Manage full-cycle accounting and prepare financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards and tax requirements; liaise with external auditors and complete financial audit reports.
- Tax Management: Interpret local tax policies and provide tax guidance for business activities; prepare tax computations and returns, complete tax filings, and liaise with local tax authorities.
- Financial Compliance: Liaise with the SEC, submit financial statements, and ensure full compliance of all financial activities.
- Treasury Risk Control: Monitor fund flows, prevent misappropriation and money laundering risks, and cooperate with anti-money laundering (AML) investigations.
- Internal Business Management: Lead annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts; regularly submit business reports and analysis to headquarters.
- Group Audit Coordination: Support the Group’s U.S. listed compliance audits, provide required audit materials, and ensure local financial processes meet internal control requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management or related field; CPA is preferred.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of local finance experience in the Philippines;
- 2+ years of treasury management experience in the Philippine financial industry is must;
- Solid background in financial accounting and taxation;
- Familiar with cash loan fund flows and compliance requirements;
- Proficient in end-to-end budgeting, monthly forecasting and business analysis;
- Knowledge of listed company audit processes and documentation standards.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations;
- Advanced Excel and financial software skills;
- Strong capability in treasury risk identification and prevention;
- Fluent in English.
