We are currently searching for a Cost Control Assistant to support our Client's Project Controls team on a major infrastructure project in Norway. The role involves cost tracking, budget monitoring, reporting, and supporting project financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track project costs and budgets.
- Review labor and equipment reports.
- Prepare cost reports and support forecasting activities.
- Analyze cost variances and assist with corrective actions.
- Support procurement cost allocation and budget management.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and project teams.
- Maintain accurate cost records and project documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cost Control, Project Controls, Financial Analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, EPC, or industrial projects is an advantage.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Norwegian language skills will be considered an advantage.
