We are looking for an organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Cost Controller to support the financial performance of our projects through effective cost monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track actual expenditures against approved budgets and identify variances.
- Investigate cost deviations and propose corrective actions and optimization opportunities.
- Support cost control activities to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare periodic cost reports, financial analyses, and project performance dashboards.
- Develop and maintain cost forecasts based on project progress and financial data.
- Assist in budget preparation, revisions, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide management with accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
Project Support & Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective financial control of projects.
- Support project planning activities by providing cost-related data and analysis.
- Contribute to risk assessment processes and identify potential financial risks and opportunities.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide recommendations based on financial performance.
Data Management & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost records, databases, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial reports and systems.
- Utilize analytical tools and reporting solutions to improve cost visibility and business performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost control processes and reporting.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Proactive mindset with a results-oriented approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and produce meaningful insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Cost Control, Project Control, Financial Analysis, Project Accounting, or a similar role is considered an advantage.
- Experience working in project-based environments, construction, engineering, or industrial sectors is a plus.
