The role
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (“CSO”), the Corporate Strategy Analyst supports the execution of the company’s strategic growth agenda through M&A, partnerships, and investment initiatives. This role is instrumental in conducting market analysis, building financial models, and coordinating cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement strategic opportunities. The successful candidate will act as a trusted support to the CSO and the Corporate Development team, using strategic analysis to drive decision making.
- Play a leading role in the end-to-end process for M&A transactions, including target identification, financial modelling, due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.
- Develop and refine corporate growth strategies in collaboration with CSO.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities.
- Valuation and financial analysis including development of financial models.
- Preparation of presentations and reports for IPLS management and Board in relation to strategy and M&A projects.
- Build and present business cases for investments, partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Operations) to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Track and report on the performance of strategic initiatives, present findings and recommendations providing insights to senior leadership.
- Support the development of long-term strategic plans and annual operating plans
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field; ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity.
- Proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions and strategic initiatives.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of global markets and cross-border deal dynamics
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is highly desirable
