As the Corporate Internal Auditor, you will have a major role to play as part of Corporate Internal Audit team to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight to the Management, the Board and other relevant Stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Financial and Operations Audit in the delivery of the annual audit plan.
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Prepare clear, concise, and insightful audit reports and present findings to senior management and Audit Committees.
- Provide value-added recommendations to improve internal controls, processes, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, audit, or risk-related roles, with demonstrated exposure to complex business and control environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting and accounting standards, gained either in audit or non-audit roles, with proven ability to evaluate accounting treatments, financial judgments and control implications, and articulate issues clearly to the management.
- Exposure to operations-driven environments (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, shared services, commercial operations) is an advantage, particularly where there is a clear financial and control impact.
- With a relevant professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, or a related field
- Experience in applying data analytics in assessing business application control effectiveness
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Having relevant work experience in the food & beverage manufacturing industry with strong understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements is an advantage
