Acclime is seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join the USA team as a Corporate Compliance Manager.
This role leads Acclime USA’s Compliance Team, ensuring regulatory adherence, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, driving process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a customer facing role with significant variety. Once settled in at Acclime USA, your role will cover onboarding new clients with a range of services and tasks, including:
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and mentor the Compliance Team, delegating tasks and managing daily workflow
- Conduct cross-training sessions and onboarding for new team members
- Oversee performance metrics and ensure alignment with departmental KPIs
Compliance Operations
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and internal controls
- Manage ITIN application process, acting as liaison between Agile and clients
- Oversee creation and activation of Airwallex accounts for clients
- Handle termination communications and draft agreement proposals for one-off services
Client Communication & Support
- Manage client correspondence and mail forwarding processes in collaboration with team members
- Ensure timely and accurate communication to enhance client satisfaction and retention
- Serve as a primary internal point of contact for Sales, Finance, and other departments
Reporting & Risk Management
- Monitor overdue accounts via Xero and lead collection efforts
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
- Prepare compliance reports for leadership and regulatory bodies
Training & Process Improvement
- Create training materials to educate Sales and internal teams on Compliance USA services
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Stay current with regulatory changes and advise leadership on implications
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in corporate compliance, with leadership experience
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and client service operations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in compliance tools and platforms (e.g., Xero, Airwallex)
