Job Summary:
A highly regarded New York–based law firm is searching for a Corporate Associate to join the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

This role is ideal for a mid‑level corporate associate who wants to play an active role in sophisticated M&A transactions while continuing to develop strong technical and client‑facing skills. The position supports both public and private company work and offers hands‑on deal experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in all aspects of public and private M&A transactions
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents and ancillary agreements
- Coordinate and oversee due diligence processes and deal checklists
- Track and manage signings, closings, and post‑closing deliverables
- Work closely with partners, specialty counsel, and external advisors
- Mentor junior attorneys as appropriate
- Support other corporate matters as needed, including capital markets or IPO‑related work
What They’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of corporate and securities experience
- Large public company transactional experience required
- Strong drafting skills and experience managing diligence processes
- Working knowledge of securities laws; capital markets exposure a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project‑management skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions concurrently
- Admission to the New York Bar and good standing
